Taiwo Aloba is an award-winning theater artist, playwright, cultural practitioner, and visual artist based in New York. She serves as the Founder and Artistic Director of African Theater Inc. Her work has been presented at The Grand-Ritz Theater, Genesius Theater, The Flea Theater, The Africa Center, LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, Chain Theater, The Clemente, Culture Lab LIC, Hudson Guild Theater, The Tank NYC, Brick Theater, The Secret Theater, Green Lung Studios, Philipsburg Manor, and many more. She has independently produced over twenty plays (one-acts and full-lengths). DPA in Public Administration from Liberty University, an MA in Creative Writing and English from Southern New Hampshire University, and a BA in Theater Arts and Music from Lagos State University. She is a proud member of The Dramatist Guild.
